Electronic Poker is a popular game that is able to be bet on in casinos around the world, or alternatively at your house on your personal computer, through an Internet account. The rules are very straightforward and involve the player attempting to achieve the best mixture of cards achievable in order to come away with cash. In this respect it is much the same as a normal game of poker, apart from the involvement with any other players. Of course, tactics employed during a physical game of poker, such as tricking, will be irrelevant here.

The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands printed on the payment schedule.

Typically, the lowest winning hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money getting larger for each and every better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, 4 of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It should be known that the payout schedule can range from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable gamblers are agile enough to choose the most profitable machine each instance.

As soon as the first round has finished, the player can either choose to remain on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to retrieve any cash that might have been won. Additionally, some versions of the game give the gambler an opportunity to double their profits, in which situation another game is played. There are also variations between specific games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to increase playability.
