Video Poker is a favored game that usually will be gambled on in casinos across the globe, or in your house on your home computer, through a net connection. The game rules are very simple and consist of the player attempting to get the highest mixture of cards possible in order to come away with cash. In this respect it’s very similar as a classic game of poker, without the line of contact with any other players. The hand is now finished, with the Video Poker machine analyzing the cards to see if it matches any of the winning hands shown on the pay out schedule.

Generally, the lowest succeeding hand on an Electronic Poker machine is a pair of jacks with the award money increasing for each better hand. A list of common winning hands starts with jacks or better, and moves on to 2 pairs, three of a kinds, straights, flushes, full houses, four of a kinds, straight flushes and finally royal flushes. It is obvious that the payout schedule can range from machine to machine, so that knowledgeable players are agile enough to select the most money-making machine each and every time.

Once the initial round has played out, the player can either decide to continue on in an attempt to increase their earnings, or press the ‘collect’ button to cash out any money that has been won. Further, some versions of the game allow the player an opportunity to double their wins, in which situation a further hand is played. There are also differences among individual games, with some virtual decks having wild cards and other differing characteristics to enhance playability.
